In Short – Autographed pictures including the Smothers Brothers and Crosby, Stills and Nash hang alongside gold and platinum records of everyone from Michael Jackson to Anne Murray. Adding to the visual stimuli are hundreds of toy cars, trucks, airplanes, pocket watches and collectibles, plus a nice fireplace for colder months. The patio provides an acoustic venue for local balladeers and instrumentalists. The crowd is mostly professional and in their 30s and 40s, with cell phones galore. – –

Editor's Tips

Parking:
The bar opened a parking lot to accommodate an otherwise congested Mt. Adams parking situation.

Great atmosphere

by briceee at Citysearch

This is one of my favorite low-key spots in Mt. Adams. It's great in the summer when you want to sit outside and listen to live music in the courtyard, or in the fall when you can sit outside around a fire and snuggle up. The inside is almost like stepping into an old pub in Europe...it's dark yet inviting with fires roaring, the staff is always ridiculously friendly, and the beer selection is pretty good. Try some of the seasonal drinks...they have a lot of different specialty ones that change from the summer to the winter.

  • Pros: Great atmosphere, friendly staff
  • Cons: Can get pretty busy if you don't get there early enough...sometimes it's hard to find seating.

Best little place in the city

by tbuchanan72 at Citysearch

This is the one place I make sure to stop in when I'm in town from San Francisco. Its the perfect after dinner drink location, very cozy, live music and an outdoor patio make this the best spot in town.

  • Pros: Great Ambiance, Cozy, Friendly
  • Cons: Parking in Mt. Adams
