Editorial Review for Mt Adams Bar & Grill – by Carrie Clark
In Short
Celebrity photos, animal heads and sports and hunting memorabilia surround the antique bar and cozy wooden booths, contributing to an inviting "Cheers"-like atmosphere. The menu features high-end pub fare and some fine locally brewed beers on tap at reasonable prices. The fries, served with jalapeno cheddar and blue cheese sauces, are a favorite, as are the variety of sandwiches and burgers, notably the delicious "Famous One," a cheeseburger with onions and salsa.

This is the kinda place you want to go to when you're in the mood for good burgers, fries and beer! They have turkey burgers, veggie burgers and of course good old beef burgers...salads, sandwiches, pastas, even fish entrees!! I had the turkey burger and fries - tasty all around. My fiancee had the grilled chicken appetizer - very tasty and moist served with their cajun bbq and their pulled pork sandwich was also a winner. Seems to me like the rest of their food would be good too... Cool atmosphere as well-and its a bigger place then you think since the restaurant goes back quite a bit. Overall, service was a little slow, but it's a great choice when you are craving burgers, bar food with a twist or a relaxed atmosphere to drink a brew or two...the place I'll be going to again and again. This willl go on my list of good places to go in Cincinnati.
Pros: good food, good variety, good prices, cool atmosphere
Cons: service slow

I've had a chance to eat at the Bar & Grill twice in the past couple weeks. It was recommended as a place to get a great meal at a reasonable price. Well, it's all that and more. The service has been good and friendly, the atmosphere is really cool and food has been awesome. It's the kind of place where it wouldn't take long to become a regular, and I just may! The fried ravioli (new to me, but not to the natives) is a terrific starter! The burgers are awesome, and the club sandwich was without-a-doubt, the best I've ever had. Great beer selection, too.
Pros: Great food, very homey, historic ambiance, friendly bartender & wait staff
Cons: Parking could be a challenge
