Too expensive if you want more than 2 oz. Watery Milkshakes!. I understand that they use the 'french pot' method of making ice cream. But as a smoker, an evil one, my tongue can't tell the difference between Graeters and UDF and any brand except the bottom of the barrell.

However, my wallet can for sure tell the difference. And regardles of your taste buds, the price will prevent it from growing beyond a local brand.

I did get a milk shake at their Crescent Springs location, and it blew me away. It was no more than 8 oz and as thin as milk (whole).

I prefer to get a UDF shake, or one with lots of milk fat in the ice cream. There is a shop that has such a shake on 11th St. in Newport. (12th St. in Covington becomes 11th St. in newport after you cross the bridge spanning the Licking river.) Then drive 3 or 4 blocks, and this store is on the left, at a corner. You can't miss it!

Another place for extra rich ice Cream is in Bellview, it is well advertised.

Yum!. My husband and I just got home from Oktoberfest. The BEST thing we ate there was Graeter's Ice Cream.

Over Rated! Over Priced! A Milk Shake is thin as 2% Milk. Graeters has this reputation that can't be shaken; no pun intended. But it is no better than UDF - United Dairy Farmers to these taste buds.

And once more, I went through the drive through and bought a Chocolate Shake, the only size they had, about 14 oz. for around $4.00 and I could not believe it has the consistency of Milk, or Water. What a rip-off...

Oprah's favorite. Graeter's Ice Cream is the most delicious ice cream ever. It's Oprah's favorite. If you want good service DON'T go to the one at Kings Island or the Zoo. Has good hours and always has seats. It is way above your local ice cream shop! If you are not from Cincinnati you must go here!!

WE miss Graeters!!! Have been away for 26 years...still they are the Hallmark /standard bearer of my fave IC-worked on the avenue 1979...and. I have only home-made ice cream to compare. The best! is yours with so many flavors and ingredients to offer flavors other than ordinary.

Good Ice cream? Maybe. Bad service... for sure!. We went to Graeter's in Kings Island. They made a mistake in our order and were not willing to correct it. The staff was lousy and not interested in helping the customer. Eventually only the manager was able to help us and offered some apologies. Terrible experience. Not everything is in the ice cream and you should know it.

Best ice cream in the World!. I am really questioning how CitySearch does it's ratings after not even seeing Graeter's Ice Cream in the top 10 list for Cincinnati!. Graeter's is often called the best ice cream in the world by many critics and for good reason. They're signature Black Rasberry Chip ice cream is out of this world, containing soft chocolate pieces ranging from small, to gigantic pieces of chocolate that would fill your entire mouth! This is because Graeter's uses a liquid chocolate and it hardens and breaks into random sized pieces as it mixes with the ice cream. Do yourself and a favor and try the best ice cream you will ever have!

One of the best in the world. I've lived and traveled all over the world and without any doubt I can honestly say that Graters Ice Cream is among the best anywhere. From Italian Ices, to French concoctions, Graters competes with some of the world's richest and delicious ice creams. I confess to having had Graters Double Chocolate Chip shipped to me on dry ice while I lived in Hawaii. It was my birthday. One of my favorite childhood passtimes was to compete with my sisters to see who had the largest chocolate chip. We've even been known to photograph the evidence and ship it around the world. Cincinnati is spoiled!
