Mediocre, bland food. I ate at the Alexander House with a large party, and although many different entrees were chosen, none of us were impressed with our dinners. The half-chicken was extremely small, the pasta was bland, the salmon was covered with entirely too much mustard, and the pork-chop specials looked thrown together haphazardly. Temperatures were inconsistent, and the asparagus that came with all of our dinners was horribly overcooked. The plates looked, and unfortunately tasted, rather bland and uninspiring. The A-list bar can be good, but the dinner downstairs left us quite disappointed. For a nice meal in Oxford, Stella's is a much better choice.

Absolutely Atrocious Behavior by owner. I went to A-list with my girlfriend and got some appetizers and some drinks. I attempted to pay for my appetizers with MUBucks which the owner Chris had personally done for me before. This time he must have been having a bad day or something when I requested to cash out. He verbally assaulted me and even stepped towards me in an aggressive manner. He at first denied ever having doing it before, before he retracted that and shouted at me that he did it a year before and they no longer do it. He looked at me with an extreme look of contempt and continued to verbally accost me in a threatening matter in front of his staff and other patrons. I have never experienced such horrible treatment in my life and was actually at times scared for my personal safety. Absolutely atrocious behavior!

ROMANTIC, HISTORIC, AND DELICIOUS. ALEXANDER HOUSE WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. MY BOYFRIEND AND I HAD A WONDERFUL MEAL, AND EVERYONE THERE WAS SUPER FRIENDLY. IT HAD AN AMAZING AMBIANCE AND MY STEAK WAS TO DIE FOR. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED TO ANYONE WHO FINDS THEMSELVES IN THE VILLAGE OF OXFORD.
