Depressing and dirty. A few friends and I decided to go to the Beach recently. Yes, the lines were short, but this did not make up for the overall crap experience. The wave pool wasn't working the entire seven hours we were there, the lazy river was dirty and way too small, and the overall maintenance of the park was poor. The ground is made out of feet-burning material wherever you are, which seems like a stupid thing for a waterpark to have. To top off this crap-filled day, The Beach has a tiny 8x8 cage off to the side where no one really sees it filled with about 20 sick-looking birds, including a peacock with most feathers missing. This park was so crap to begin with, I don't know why they felt the need to add animal abuse to the list.

Great Waterpark. The Beach is a wonderful waterpark at an affordable price. We got our tickets on sale online for $14 a person. Expect to pay for parking and to rent a locker (things you normally find at a waterpark). You can rent a tube, but all rides that need it the tubes are provided. There aren't as many slides but they are fun and the lines were not long. We were able to go on slides several times and there were several options for places to sit. The park was clean and safe. The only negative was that sometimes it was hard to find where to enter for some of the slides.

Old and Rundown waterpark. This place really needs to be updated and maintained. It is very dirty. The water smells and lazy river has leaves, insects and dirt at the bottom of it. Appears as if it has not been cleaned in days. The bathrooms/changing areas are filthy. The rides are all old, nothing new or exciting here. Then the cost, you have to pay to rent a tube and a chair. This is after paying $30 admission and $7.50 parking. It is not a thrilling waterpark so this is a place I would avoid.

expensive day at "the beach". My family and I were interested in finding a good waterpark to go to this summer. I found their website and it looked great. It advertised family pack admissions but it didn't say you could only get that price on the internet. So after paying for 7 people I ended up shelling out $195.00!!! It also didn't say that you had to pay for tubes ($5.95). We rented the yellow tubes and the people that we rented them from didn't tell us that we could only use them on 3 of the rides!!! Turns out you had to either rent the blue tubes or the double person tubes and I have no idea how much those were because by then I was disappointed and broke! Also the large locker was $6.75 to rent in addition to a $5.00 deposit. We packed our lunch so I can only imagine how much that would cost someone. I think the park was very nice but I think they need to advertise the additional costs on the internet so families can be prepared for the additional costs they will incur.

Getting wet is half the fun at this mammoth 35-acre park.. In Short
The Beach features more than 41 water slides. The Aztec Adventure is set among mock Aztec ruins and is the first water coaster in the Midwest. Those looking for milder amusement might prefer a cruise down the Lazy Miami River. The Thunder Beach Wavepool has an impressive 750,000 gallons of pretend ocean. The Banzai is the Beach's famous twin speed slide, and the Riptide is a double drop slide for the brave.

Fantastic Park!. My family and I visit The Beach every summer and we absolutely love it. The best part is that I can sit and relax by the Wavepool and the kids can run around and enjoy all the rides. I feel very comfortable letting my kids go out on their own at this park. And there is so much to do you really can't get it all in in one visit. My families favorites are the Aztec, Cliff, the Pearl (heated pool) and the Wavepool. I also really enjoy the Lazy River. The best time to go is on Sundays. They have live Reggae Bands right next to the wavepool. My teenage daugher also goes to their Teen Dance Club and she has a blast every Tuesday. It's a great place for teens to hang out in a safe, non alcoholic and controlled environment.

I definitely recommend this park to everyone. You are sure to have a blast every time you visit.

Surf's Up!. Wild and Wacky Waterpark. An alternative or an addition to your visit to King's Island across the street!
