Terrible service, food almost as bad. This restaurant is in Union Centre, a bit difficult to find off the main drive. A group of us went there for dinner tonight and were seriously disappointed.

We arrived promptly for our 6:30 reservation and finally got our checks at 9:30pm. The service was just plain miserable. There were no special orders, no substitutions - in short, no apparent reason why we did not get our food on time. We each had an appetizer or salad, followed by the main course and several of us had dessert an coffee. We waited for an eternity between courses. To add insult to injury, the credit card machine was out of order when our checks came so we waited for another 20 minutes while our checks were prepared manually.

I ordered the chicken orange and it was very ordinary. The chicken had been fried and tasted greasy and overcooked. The orange sauce tasted as though it came out of a can. My salad greens were fresh, however, and the dressing, served on the side in an unusual square cup, was fairly good, though plain.

I don't drink alcohol so I requested a non-alcoholic beer, which they did not have. I then ordered a glass of club soda and was charged $2.50 for this and another $2.50 for a refill. Unbelievable! I always order club soda when I am at restaurants and I am virtually never charged for the first glass, much less subsequent refills.

Needless to say, we won't be returning.
