Worst Salon Ever. I use to go to Identity all the time. Every single time I was not impressed. My mom recommended the place to me and she too has changed to a different salon. The staff are rude, appointments are constantly lost, the stylists are almost always behind, and the talent is just now there. Think twice before coming here!
Identity Hair Salon. I went to Identity on the advice of one of my swim parents when I told her I needed a pedicure. So for my birthday, the swim parents got me a gift care for a pedicure. I was able to call on sunday to make the appointment (I am the kind of person who thinks of things on sunday cause I'm not running around doing a bunch of stuff). Additionally, I liked the fact that I could make an appointment for a sunday, even though thats not when I ended up making my appointment for. So they were able to get me in the next day. The salon tech who did my pedicure did a really good job, my feet felt fabulous afterwards, they only had OPI nail polish (a GREAT company), and I was offered something to drink. the receptionist took my coat, walked me to the bathroom, the door was opened for me. I would recommend anyone to go there.
manicure. This was my second visit to the beechmont salon. The first horrible experience I forgave giving the whole thing up to a bad hairstylist. The hairstylist rushed me through the whole haircare experience because she had a long list of clients to see. She did not even talk to me during the cut, instead she was gossiping with another stylist across the room. The second time I visited the salon was to have a manicure done with axxium gel nails. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! First, the manicurist decided what color I should have on my nails and would not listen to me when I said I was interested in color. Second, she did not clean my nail beds or trim cuticles. Third, she said that she would massage my hands last because she did not want any oil residue on my fingers prior to axxium placement. However, when it was time for the massage she had another client show up so my massage got pushed to a 15 second quick lotion application. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN FOR ANY KIND OF SERVICE AND WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. It was not worth the $37 plus tip.

Horrible!! I've been using Identity for over 8 years and every time it's been just OK nothing but the price is over the top. But it's close and I just kept going.
Having said that I know when I walk in the receptionist takes your coat and get you something to drink. But not this time. I waited for over 25 minutes watching my stylist chit chat with someone else before anyone even told me she was running late ( I was about 5 min early). When she finally got done she said that it wasn't possible to do what I wanted I said fine do what you did last time. She did a horrible job on the cut. But since I was already running late I decided that I would go home and see if it was just the way it was laying. When I went to pay I had a Gift Cert and a coupon. The rude lady at the counter said I couldn't use either one. Couldn't say why she couldn't but that she couldn't. So I paid double what I would have for this haircut and dye. I paid because of course no manager was there to help me. The next day I called the manager she was happy to help and would call me back. She called back the next day and said she could give me 20% off my next visit. I said no all I want is for you to accept the 50$ gift cert that I was planning on using. She stated she would have the owner Linda call me back. This was on a Thursday so I waited until Monday and when I didn't hear back from the owner I called back. I got a different manager who said that I was LYING because the other manager would have never told me that the owner would call me. I was getting upset by this point. I'm a long term customer and this is how you treat me?!! I told her if she wouldn't offer to accept my gift certificate than I would go to the BBB. She stated there was nothing she can do. So I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and guess what!! No one responded to the claim so the BBB had to close it with out helping.
PLEASE DON'T USE THIS SALON!!

Beechmont Identity Salon. I was extremely happy with my haircut experience at Identity salon in Beechmont. The atmosphere was very posh and busy with the hustle & bustle of a thriving salon. For $20 my stylist, Wesleigh, spent 45 minutes washing my hair, scalp massage (heavenly!!!), cutting and styling my hair. I was thrilled with my style and have an appointment for my next cut already. Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed.
Good service until there's a problem - Think twice. Its amazing how one really bad experience can change your mind. For 3 years I raved about Identity! NO more. My last hair cut was terrible. Unfortunately, the manager was not in that night and I had to pay full price for my terrible new do. It took over a week to get a hold of a manager. Not great service or empathy from her. I asked for a percentage off highlights. The answer was a firm NO, but they could offer me a percentage off my next hair cut. No thank you! Neither the manager or stylist acted as if they cared. The manager even told me that if she gave me the percentage off, she'd get in trouble. Guess what. I don't care! My hair cut is horrible! I wanted to talked to someone who seemed like the cared about my experience. Never did find that person at Identity. Will never be back after 3 years of excellent service.

BEST STYLIST/COLORIST EVER. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO IDENTITY FOR YEARS, TWELVE TO BE EXACT AND THE STAFF IS GREAT! LISA J HAS DONE MY HAIR AND COLOR FOR YEARS NOW, I WOULD DRIVE ANYWHERE TO GO TO HER. SHE LISTENS AND NEVER CUTS OFF MORE THAN WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE, SHE ALSO LISTENS TO WHAT I WANT, KEEPS UP ON THE LASTEST STYLES AND TEACHES ME HOW TO DO MY HAIR, NOT JUST SAY THERE YOU GO AND THE NEXT DAY IT'S UP TO YOU TO TRY AND FIX IT LIKE A PROFESSIONAL! UNITL YOU HAVE SAT DOWN IN LISA J'S CHAIR YOU WILL NEVER BE SATIFIED! GO SEE HER YOU WON'T REGRET IT! HER PRICES ARE PRICEY BUT WELL WORTH IT! YOU'LL SEE
Horrible Customer Service / Lost Reservation. My sister and I made a spa appointment with this location three weeks prior to the date. Called twice to confirm. We were assured the appointment was on the books and there were no problems. We showed up and were told there was only one appointment. not the two we were assured of. The manager was cold and rude. No apology. They did not even offer to compensate for the error. No acknowledgement of the error on the part of the salon. Then my sister tried calling a higher manager - was hung up on twice and then told someone would get back to her right away. Nothing yet. Do not use this salon. The people are rude, use foul language, and will not admit to their ineptitude.
