The city's first amusement park is still a great place for a fun-for-all..
In Short
In 1886, the park opened as Ohio Grove, the Coney Island of the West, linking it (at least by name) to the famous New York park. A favorite stop in the present-day park is the Sunlite Pool, advertised as "the world's largest re-circulating pool." A handful of rides keep kids entertained while parents bask in the sun or go for a swim. Picnic grounds are available as is as a small lake for pedal boating.
