Pleasantly Surprised.
I came to this bar to watch my brother and some friends perform because they let amateur acts play all the time which is pretty cool in itself. They have a nice stage in the back and good sound system.
The staff are friendly and were in a great mood which instantly put me in a good mood. There is a very broad mix of people that came and went through the night.I love interesting friendly people and this place was full of them. I stayed for about 4 hours.
It's not in the best of neighborhoods so the door man had a few stories about being shot at but nothing like that went down the night I was there. The police however which usually I respect because they are supposed to protect and serve were very rude to not just trouble makers but to everyone including myself.
I would recommend checking this place out or even performing there.
Title Implies More Than Being Clever. No stalls on the bathrooms, grafitti over everything, no respect from owners or staff. After I played here, I had a pedefile calling me for a month saying that they saw me play there. In a disgusting neighborhood, about the size of an apartment building. Will book any band for the hell of it, whether they happen to be pretty good or horrible. They hold a lot of Battle of The Bands, which is an absolute bulls**t contest, not that they care. Don't play or go here.
