All You Can Eat Sushi Rip-Off!. We ate lunch there recently, lured by their advertisment of "all you can eat sushi" for $13.95. This price only includes maki rolls and no soup, salad, or premium sushi/sushimi rolls. The sushi was OK, not bad, but not "out of this world" either. If you want a great "all you can eat" sushi bar lunch, try Tokyo on Chester Rd. The $19.95 price includes soup, salad, and any sushi/sushimi on the menu, including the best and biggest spider rolls (soft shell crab) I've ever had. The shrimp tempura rolls are great too.
All you can eat sushi... not really. I visited recently for the all you can eat sushi for $13.95. That is not really true. The only all you can eat items are the maki rolls which are limited in variety. There is sushi add-on for $0.99/piece. I found the rolls to be mostly rice. I extracted a piece of fish from my roll and it was a sliver. I then tasted that piece of fish. It was not good at all. It was warm and the texture was terrible. It was basically mush. I prefer the fish in my rolls to have at list a bit of body. The ambiance is headed in the right direction, but after a few years of being open, the furniture and floor tiles are showing wear. I loved the jazz music playing over the audio system, but it was unfortunately blended with the sound from the widescreen tv at the bar. There was no bar tender at the bar. There was no one sitting at the bar. Yet ESPN was competing with the jazz music. The staff was friendly, but seemed taxed to be able to serve all the patrons.
Best Sushi in Mason.. a MUST visit.
I had a tough time finding the place but loved everything about it once I got there.
The place is small, dark and cozy. The service is great.
Most importantly, the sushi was excellent. The menu is a bit sparse, but I've tried just about everything on the menu by now. It's been excellent every time.
I highly recommend this place
