Jets Pizza tops in Cincinnati.
I tried Jets for the first time several years ago while in Detroit. It was good then and they haven't changed the recipe apparently with restaurants they've opened in Cincinnati. I've driven up to 20
miles from my home for the taste (Mason, Westchester) and now they've opened up a store near me in Loveland that delivers to my neighborhood...awesome!
I'm originally from upstate NY, so I like to think that I'm pretty picky regarding pizza. I haven't been able to find a decent NY style pizza locally, so this is the next best thing as far as I'm concerned. The sauce is piquant and not too sweet, unlike another Cincinnati favorite. The cheese is real mozzarella without too much grease rising to the surface. The veggies and meats I've tried have been top notch. The crust is crispy even though it's deep-dish. I'm not sure what's not to like here? They have a variety of good salads but really the winner is the deep-dish pizza. If you like a good crisp crust, order the 4 or 8 corner pizza...crunchy, tasty, magnifico!
The XL pizza that we've ordered feeds up to 4-6 people easily. I've got a family of four with two growing late teen boys and we have no trouble paying $14 for a pizza that feeds us with leftovers that stay tasty even two days out.…
