Best spa experience in the city!.
My first experience with the Woodhouse Spa was at Christmas three years ago. I wanted to buy my husband a year's worth of monthly massages for a present. I called the spa and they took my order over the phone. Twenty minutes later, I drove up in front of the business and the owner came out to my car and delivered the gift certificate beautifully wrapped and ready for giving I was Impressed!!
My husband and I have set up "spa days" for ourselves and our six adult children when they come in from out of town for holidays.
This is a highlight of the holidays for all of us and is the ultimate experience in relaxation and enjoyment.
As soon as you walk into the Woodhouse you begin to feel pampered. The aromatherapy, luscious robes, rich dark wood and crystal chandeliers are just the beginning.
The staff could not be more accommodating. We usually gather in the quiet room for mimosa's and appetizers prior to our massages. I have experienced several different massages and different massage therapists, since I started going to the
Woodhouse three years ago and they have all been professional and well trained.
In my family we talk about our spa parties long after the experience is over.
If you have not been to the Woodhouse Day Spa I recommend that you treat yourself, you will not be disapointed!

Wonderful Time. I've been to the Woodhouse Day Spa a few times. I have received 3 massages 2 manicures and 2 pedicures. Every time I have been there my experience has been amazing. The staff is top notch, polite, helpful, knowledgeable , talented, and the best part SKILLED. I recommend to all my friends and clients to go see the staff at Woodhouse. Take my advise go today.

Always a great experience!. Whenever I come in from Chicago to visit I always set up a service for either myself or my fiance. The spa staff is always extremely courteous and thorough. I bought spa treatment for my 4 sisters and they absolutely loved the place. I've personally had massages and facials there and will continue to visit every time I come to town. Highly recommend.

Worst time ever..
I was at Woodhouse Day Spa getting a message and I spent $110 for a hour message and I left feeling like I was ripped off. I did not feel relaxed, the masseuse did not spend any time working on my problem areas she kept trying to talk to me when I told her that I did not want to talk that I just wanted to relax. When I complained about the service I received nothing was done about it, no apology was giving .
All around the Woodhouse Day Spa offers bad service.

This is an odd review. We have a standing policy to not speak unless spoken to during services. Also, we charge $80 for a 50 minute massage, or $95 if it's deep tissue or volcanic stone. Additionally, if any guest expresses dissatisfaction when they check out it's our policy to handle it right then and there. Obviously, there are times when our service isn't up to our high standards (usually for reasons that are beyond our control) but we make every effort to remedy them as soon as they are brought to our attention. I don't have any contact info for this poster, and it is their only post on Citysearch so we cannot contact them directly to follow up (unless they read this and contact us, which we would welcome!).

Great place to relax. Went with a friend for massage and facial. Facial was great loved the products, love that they are organic and natural. Parking was a bight tight i had to wait for a spot for a few minutes but it was worth it!

Great Service, Nice Atmosphere.
I visited The Woodhouse last week and really loved it. I gave the manager my compliments and asked what I could do for him to help spread the word; he said "post a review" so here it is!
I had a massage with Ed who was fabulous (and cute) and also had a pedicure (although i've forgotten the girls name). The spa has a great atmosphere, and the people that work there really seem to care about what they're doing. Overall, it was just a really great experience. I would highly recommend.

CHEATED BY WOODHOUSE!!.
was in post-massage zone and girl convinced me that my $120 gift certificate was needed to cover a swedish massage and tip. Went home to find out swedish massage was only $70... she took a $50 tip?!
i emailed Woodhouse i was so annoyed - and no one even responded to me.
I will never go back, even if the venue is nice because the people are not trustworthy.

After reading this review we contacted Emily. We didn't receive the e-mail she sent but were able to reach her by phone and talk to her about what happened. There as confusion on our end about the tip on the gift card (we ended up owing her about $27). We ended up re-charging her gift card back to it's full amount ($147.50) so that she could have another chance to come in and relax. If you don't leave relaxed...we failed at our mission. When we fail (which isn't too often) we always try to make amends. In this case Emily was very kind, and was excited to send her husband in for a massage using the newly re-charged gift card.

Amazing spa service with lots of extra perks. I've been to two of the top spas in the USA and Woodhouse would fit in with this list. The small, intimate nature of the lobby to the top shelf products provided free of charge in the shower -- this place can't be beat. The services are very reasonable, when they could charge a lot more for their services. I always see Brian when I go, he is the best! I highly recommend this spa to all.

Thank God it's a Woodhouse day!.
I was scheduled to be off work for the day, but decided to go into the office to attend a budget meeting. A one hour meeting turned into three hours of ?one more thing?. I was literally replying to e-mails as I was walking into the wonderful escape called The Woodhouse. The minute I entered door my entire being shifted. I was warmly greeted and given a relaxing cup of peach tea after I changed into an oversized (very important) terry cloth robe.
The Woodhouse is for the discriminating spa lover. Each room is uniquely designed and inviting, with state of the art equipment and simple organic touches that immediately engulf you. The staff is professional, warm and knowledgeable.
By the end of my body scrub and swedish massage, I had forgotten what all the fuss was about at work and drifted home on a cloud.
