Great Clips at Paxton- Hyde Park.
I visited Great Clips at Hyde Park Square on Paxton Avenue yesterday afternoon, and certainly wish I had NOT! I just asked for a trim - the stylist was too busy
talking to her companions to pay attention to what she was doing! No focus whatsoever on the haircut. I got up in the middle of the cut to get away from that mess. Still got way too much cut off my hair - absolutely
NOTHING like I asked for, but thank God I escaped before I was completely bald! If only those ladies would quit talking about having their water turned off in their apartment, personal problems with boyfriends, and any
other number of unsavory subjects - all this while wildly gestering with their hands - and completely ignoring any hapless sole who is trying to get some service!!! Guess it really does pay to go to a more professional
operation.
Great Clips Client Research Services:
Thank you for your reply. But, I will NEVER set foot in a Great Clips 'salon' again. Do you realize that it will take several months, to a year, to get my hair to look halfway decent again? It would have been one thing if that 'stylist' had TRIED to do a good job - I could be more forgiving of an honest effort gone wrong, but she was completely ignorant of customer service, and completely disregarded my request - I have NEVER seen a more apathetic 'stylist'.
I am just sick over my hair being butchered, and am planning to go to a professional stylist to try to salvage what's left into some kind of a decent cut, but am still too shell-shocked to trust anyone for a while. Should have just put a bowl over my head, and cut my hair myself - at least the effort would have been there, which is more than I can say for that half-witted attempt by your so-called 'stylist'. If she had not been so busy socializing with her cohorts, maybe she could have paid more attention to what she was doing?!
I appreciate your concern, but there is really nothing you can do to save me from months of aggravation and inconvenience that could have been so easily avoided.
