Worst experience of my Life. Has practically ruined my entire wedding experience.. I'm in hell. I'm in burning hell. I purchased my wedding dress at David's Bridal over Thanksgiving. I'm having a Christmas wedding. I am from Cincinnati but currently live in San Francisco and the wedding is taking place in my fiance's hometown of San Diego. My Mom and I called SEVERAL SEVERAL SEVERAL times to confirm the overnight shipping. I was supposed to have received my dress TODAY in San Francisco as I'm leaving for San Diego on the 22nd. Guess what? They shipped the dress GROUND and then tried to blame us saying it wasn't in their "notes". Well guess what ladies, we have a receipt showing we paid for the overnight AIR shipping. Well no one is going to be here at my company in SF to sign for the shipment and I myself am not going to be here even if they were. I'll be in San Diego getting ready for a wedding which I apparently don't have a dress for. Oh, did I mention I am pregnant and they made me cry at work? We told them, WHO in their right mind would have a wedding dress shipped over the Christmas holiday GROUND?!?! They finally got it..... I think. Also people may wonder why I bought a dress in Cincinnati when I live on the West Coast? Well, I wanted to have that experience with my Mom, Aunts and cousins and I didn't think shipping and timing would be such a difficult concept to grasp for a retail store who also has an online store as well. Believe me, I would do it completely different had I known then what I know now. Also, I completely trusted them b/c they seemed so nice when I was in there and they kept telling me not to worry (as I expressed my shipping worries). They just wanted the sale and I know that now. Don't let their surface charm fool you. They don't give a S*IT about you or your wedding or your dress. Trust me, I know from experience. A very BAD BAD BAD AWFUL experience.
