Bad loyalty Service. My cousin spent three days at this spa before the wedding. She brought all her bridesmaids in for services. I called in the AM because I woke up with a sick baby, They wouldn't allow me to cancel my appointment and wanted to charge me full fee. I will show up an have the message... I just think it is shaddy considering My cousin was responsible for over 1000.00 worth of service in three days.
Nothing But The Best. I have been going to Sableux for 10+ years and have always had positive experiences. Firstly, my stylist is AMAZING! Amy does the best cuts and colors and is always happy to make recommendations on how to best care for my hair. Everyone there including the front desk staff is consistently pleasant and upbeat. Just this past weekend a staff member even walked me out to my car IN THE POURING RAIN with an umbrella to avoid ruining my hair for a friends wedding. I would recommend Sableux their awesome customer service to anyone!
Really bad experience. I had my hair done with one of the new stylists at Sableux. My hair turned out yellow and I still had to pay for it. I went back the next day to fix it, she left an orange spot on my hair this time. I refused to go back the second time to fix it. I went to a different salon afterwards to let them take a look at that spot. They were shocked that I was charged for that awful job. Sableux general manager refused to reimburse my money. As a result, I'm not a customer there any more. I showed that orange spot on my hair to my family members, who were the Sableux customers at the time. They were very surprised that I had to pay for that poor job. As a result, they are not Sableux customers any longer either. I would not recommend that salon to anyone. Ladies, try finding a different salon as you will not get reimbursed for poorly done job at Sableux.
Unprofessional. Had a very unprofessional bikini wax. I complained to the front desk and I did get an apology and a gift certificate from the manager. I decided to give the salon another try. I called to check to see if they provided a specific service and the response I got from the person who answered the phone was, "no, I don't THINK we do that." She wasn't sure, but she also wasn't willing to ask someone, instead she lost a customer. If there are employee procedures and policies for the salon, they should provide on going training to improve customer service.
Have been going to Sableux for years & love it. I have been going to Sableux for over 15 years. Over the years stylist have left but mgmt has always made recommendations and I have liked each stylist they recommend. If price is the issue, you can ask for a sylist that is a little less experienced and price will reflect that. I have done this in the past and have always thought the stylist did a great job. I have had facials and massages also and have had a great relaxing experience. For the service, atmosphere and experience I feel is reasonably priced and at a high end spa. Julie F
my haircut was good. my haircut was good and the girl cutting my hair was nice. she did curse a lot while telling me her life story. i doubt i will go back, because the prices are too high. but overall it was fine.
Avoid rough nail tech!.
I get my nails done quit often and have for several years now. I normally go to Sableux Salon and Spa, but recently the girl I liked to use left after having her baby! I am so sad to see her go! My last experience at this salon was awful! My girl friend and I went to get our nails done together. The lady who did my manicure and pedicure smelled like a combo of perfume and cigarette smoke.....NASTY! She was not that great with my cuticles and kinda rough. Her massage was great but I wasn't booked for a massage, I was booked for a nail tech to polish my nails better then me! I was shooked! She hurt me while doing some of the pedicure, my big toe sill hurts! She was quick, but again I wasn't looking for speed. I wanted to experience the 'Spa' treatment I paid for! Lets not even talk about the poilsh.......I could have done a better job! My girl friend wasn't that impressed either. Her person seemed mad and like she would rather have been anywhere else. I have heard stories about the staff there and the management, personally I think the girls are miserable!
I am done giving them my money and think I will try Cloud 9 or Vintage! Maybe there my feet will feel good after spending close to $100 and not sore!
Sableux looks pretty, SOME of the staff is overly nice but the talent is simply not there!
Dont waste your money there are better places out there.....we just have to find them!!!!!
Bad Bad Bad. I went to Sableux for a haircut and asked for an inch to be taken off. She cut my hair up to my shoulders, about 4 inches more than I asked to be cut. I was so upset I didn't know what to do. A few months later I went to a new salon for a trim and the stylist there noticed the underneat hair was cut inches shorter than the outside layers. Apparently the stylist at Sableux cut my first layer of hair so short that she had to cut the rest short to cover the mistake. As the new stylist let new layers of hair down to trim she said they got longer and longer almost like layered but the opposite way. I don't know if this makes sense, but all in all she really screwed up my hair!
Terrible Customer Service and I have been a customer for years.. I was very dissapointed. I have been a customer at Sableux for years. I made an appointment for two back to back sessions. They reversed the appointments. I had never said anything before when mistakes were made, but this time I decided to say something. They said it was not their fault. I was stunned. They could at least have apologized and said they didn't know how the error was made. I guess they think they are the best salon in town and it doesn't matter. Good customer service does mean something so I went to another salon today. They were okay, but I wil still never go back to Sableux. I am looking for another upscale salon. I understand there are some in Cincinnati. Chappies might be good here in Northern Kentucky. I don't know, but I know one thing. I will never go back to Sableux. That man was just too rude. I wonder if they know what he is failing to say.
hot rock massage. Ok when isnt a massage good? I waited 3 weeks trying to book a hot rock massage to spend my gift certificates that i received from christmas.... I have had 3 hot rock massages in the past from another salon.. I must admit that I will continue to go to that salon before I would come back to Sableux Salon and Spa... I think I was actually this guy's first massage he has ever given... it was a total waste of my gift certificates.... I wish I would have just come in and bought products and left the massaging to the other salon..... I do say that the entire staff is very professional and the atmosphere is very nice... the talent is just not there... I saw another person leaving and couldnt believe i overheard her saying while paying it was for a cut and color... she looked as though she just crawled out of bed... being a former hairdresser I would have never allowed a client to leave the shop looking like that.... amazing....If you want to spend the type of cash they charge for their services I recommend you go over to the crescville mall in the same parking lot and get a much better job where the talent is what you pay for not the looks.
