Best Hairstylist Ever – After years of drifting from one stylist to another, I feel as though I have struck gold! Heather with Uniquely Senise is AMAZING. She is truly talented. You know you have a great hairstylist when strangers comment on your hair! Heather works so hard to give you exactly what you want, while giving advice as to whether or not it will fit your lifestyle and be flattering. She will be my hairstylist until I am a blue-haired old lady...scratch the blue hair... Heather won't let that happen!
Love Heather – Heather has been styling my hair for at least 12 years. I have never had a bad experience. She is fabulous with color and always strives to keep my cut/color current and flattering. I highly recommend Uniquely Senise, and Heather, in particular!
Response – The stylists at Uniquely Senise are comprised of employees and booth renters. Booth renters are independent contractors that rent space from us and are not employees. Heather is a booth renter. If you have an issue with the quality of her work it should be taken up with her. If it's an employee you're not happy with then that's on us and we'll do what we have to in order to satisfy you.
All stylists that work here are very proficient at what they do. Heather has been in the business for 15 + years and in the 5 years she has been at Uniquely Senise, she has had 8,723 appointments and only 2 published complaints. The numbers speak for themselves.
Awesome service. – I've been going to Uniquely Senise for a long time. The staff is always friendly & courteous & Nancy always does an incredible job on my hair. I wouls never think of going anywhere else,
Great Place / Great Experience – I highly recomend this Salon. The receptionist was freindly and made me feel welcome when I walked in and my haircut and style was honestly the best I've ever had. My stylist (Senise) was very freindly and professional, listened to how I wanted my hair done, and when finished it was just how I had asked.

haircut/color disaster – My daughter's first haircut with Heather had great results. The second was just okay. But on the third, Heather cut my daughters hair using a photo she brought as a reference. The style was a medium/long length layered cut with highlights...not a cheap do. Her hair was so short when I picked her up we could not even flat iron it. My daughter looked like a boy! We were both upset and she was crying all the way home. Her first day at a new school was only two days away and she was devistated.
I went to Mi salon on a emergency visit and they made her feel better and showed my daughter different ways to try to style it as well as a date of when to shape it as it grew. Unfortuately the receptionist at Uniquely Senise only said,"Well, it will grow." My family will not go back to this salon again.
I've been searching for a great stylist for seven years since moving here. Finally I've found someone fabulous at Shan-gri-la. Her name is Jennifer and she does wonderful work. I recommend her highly.
I found this write up when researching nail wraps for the Florence area. Though this incident happened 8 months ago I'm still dumfounded why Heather deviated so far from the length in the picture.
Ridiculous – My stylist Heather did not do the job I was hoping for (for $40 plus tip-I would have liked to have been ecstatic). Unfortunately I do not like to return to the same stylist for a "redo" since they did not do a good job in the first place. Unfortunately when I called to have another stylist fix what was not done correctly I was told I would be chared another $40 since the stylists are contracted. I now have to spend more money on another haircut that should have at least been simple to do (layers are off, both framing my face as well as in the back. I now have to have more inches in the back taken off to make to catch up to the short layers that were cut way too short.) Not at all what I was hoping for-extremely disappointed and by the end of the week will have to pay ANOTHER $30-$40 to correct the errors. My third time there with diff. stylists, will not be back. I found this website looking for an old stylist in Hyde Park that will hopefully help me and decided to write this. If a business does not want these types of reviews then they should at least eat the cost of a bad hair cut and save themselves the humiliation. Anything, a follow-up call or credit would have definitely redeemed them but nothing was offered except an apology. Not good enough. With this recession I suggest you do everything to keep your clients happy. A woman who is loyal to her stylist will refer tons of people. Please rethink your policies-honestly, they make absolutely no sense.
