roto rooter plumbers 07/14/2010-07/15/2010. I was having a problem with a major clog in my home and the toilets were backing up into the bathtub (YUCK!) and when i called Roto Rooter the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. they give FREE estimates which i didnt find anywhere else when i was calling around for quotes. They did have a little bit of a problem with being there on time, due only to running over at other jobs, but the customer service was amazing with the woman calling to keep me updated almost hourly. Dave was the name of the man that came to my house and he was very friendly and patient with the fact the i had 4 children (including a loud newborn) in my home. He explained to me what was wrong in a way that i was able to understand and tried for a very long time to correct the problem. When he was unable to do so, and it was getting late, he explained to me in detail the problem and why it couldnt be corrected immediately and told me someone would be in touch with me the following morning. At a reasonable time the next morning the receptionist called to tell me they could come out right away and they arrived within less than 20 minutes. I believe one mans name was Don or Dan and i do not remember the other mans name that was with him but they were both very friendly as well and also explained to be step by step and in detail what the problem was and what they were doing. In the end i feel like i had my problem fixed as inexpensively as possible and by very friendly and professional people. I am MORE the satisfied and would recommend them to anyone i know…

Roto-Rooter Plumbers , Sat., 6/12/10. My basement drain clogged up on Saturday during a very torrential rain storm and more bad weather was on its way. My basement had two inches of water on the floor and rising. Myself and three neighbors were manning shop vacs to remove the water but it was futile. I called my usual plumber, Knochelman Plumbing, was put on hold for 3-5 minutes, told a clueless receptionist that my basement was flooding and I needed a plumber ASAP and was told they could be there on Tuesday. I hung up and called Roto-rooter. The receptionist immediately understood the urgency and said someone would be there within two hours. We bailed the water until their technician Aaron (#1508) got here and within 15 minutes had the drain cleared and the water gone. Great Service. Within hours of calling Roto-Rooter, they sent me a guy named Aaron. Aaron was very friendly and accompanied me to my overflowed basement. After conversing with him for about 5 minutes, he knew exactly what my problem was and was able to fix it and get my basement to start draining out all of the water which had backed up in my basement. Service is guaranteed for six months, but he gave me helpful hints for the future on how to keep it from happening again. Fast, friendly service and at a reasonable cost. Would recommend again.
