This Cajun-style fast food restaurant first opened in New Orleans in 1972 and has since achieved domestic and international fame for its flavorful mild and spicy chicken. In addition to the storied buttermilk biscuits, seafood menu items range from fried popcorn shrimp and shrimp snack "Craver Paks" to chicken sausage jambalaya, catfish baskets and shrimp etouffee. More festive Louisiana regional fare--think red beans and rice, and Mardi Gras cheesecake--rounds out the menu.

Good for Fast Food chicken, service is normally slow and check your order.. The "spicy" chicken has a nice flavor as well as many of the other items for a fast food restaurant.

The Mash Potatoes and Cajun gravy is good, as well as the biscuits, rice, etc. Food taste beats KFC and other places of similar price.

Service is normally slow and accuracy has been an issue as 4 of my past 10 orders had major errors. They fix them all and are normally friendly. They rank lower on cleanliness than most other fast food restaurants I visit, especially for a newer building.

If you are in the mood for chicken and want something with a little more flavor than KFC then this is the spot.
