Professional Company/Exceptional People. I started my search for a local moving company with My Three Sons. I was in need of a company that could guarantee an exact start time. My Three Sons was not able to guarantee that, and so very kindly called Wayne and Family Moving for me asking them personally if they could help me out in my special situation. It was such a kind gesture and refreshing thing to experience two companies in the same business "scratching each other's backs." Wayne Jr. and two other very kind employees came to the house and stood strong professionally, using very careful skills and care while moving some extremely precious pieces to my new home. It was a family experience, and they proved the great pride they have in their work and business. They were kind, patient, understanding and meticulous in every manner. They were a pleasure to work with and they will always be highly recommended by me personally.

Warning - Bait and switch tactics!. Unfortunately for us, this was the only moving company available last minute on a Sunday. They quoted us one price on the phone, only to arrive and state that they only do two-hour minimum jobs, and asked for more money than we had agreed to. As a compromise, they agreed to move our stuff that day (one hour of work) and come back the next day to work off the other hour of labor. The problem is they never came back and didn't return our calls. Furthermore, their original statement that they only do two hour minimum jobs was bogus, since they brought along their girlfriends who waited nearby and were eager to leave after -- one hour! By not holding up their agreement of working for the second hour, they essentially stole from us. I would not recommend this company, nor would I hire them again. This "family" is more like the mafia than a mom and pop operation.

Could not have been worse. Called them on a recommendation from my sister. They were supposed to show up at a friend's house to pick up an entertainment cabinet between 8:30 and 9:00. When they hadn't arrived at 10,I called. They had no record of the appt. I was told they would get someone out to the house in 30 minutes. About 2 hours later a truck arrived at her house to pick up the piece.

She called to warn me that there was one guy who knew what he was doing and a trainee. When they finally arrived at my house with the furniture, they had a hard time getting it in the door because only one person knew what he was doing. They couldn't figure out how it would go up the steps, and because they had already scratched my hardwood floors getting it in,and because the one person obviously couldn't do it alone, I told them to forget it and gave the piece to one of the movers.

Just as a note, I had movers take an entertainment center up the stairs and into another bedroom without any incident a couple of years ago, and it was bigger than the one they were trying to move.

My floor has several deep scratches in it that will have to be repaired; I don't have the entertainment center I was going to use in a guest room, and I'm out the money. I will never use them again and will make sure that I tell people to stay away from them if they need movers.

Cheerful, honest, hardworking family. These movers are absolutely the best! They came on time ( a little early, even!) and worked harder than anyone I've ever seen. They worked quickly and cheerfully, and did a careful, efficient job. They were moving my 80-year-old mother 166 miles away, and they took wonderful care of her things. They did not charge extra for anything and were a joy to work with. They loaded her entire house in under 4 hours, drove for 4 hours, unloaded the truck, and were still cheerful and friendly. I couldn't have hired a better company! Thank you, Wayne Family!

Great. I was carrying more items than they were -- just to help speed up the process so they couldn’t bill me for even more time. they didn’t have fancy uniforms, but they charged me a fair rate, they stuck to the rate, and they worked quickly. I never felt that they were dragging along just to increase the amount of time they could bill me, the way that other company did. The personnel were friendly and accommodating. I would use this company for all of my future moves.

thanks. Your movers arrived right on time and were excellent workers! We got moved in record time and nothing got broken or damaged. These two guys really know how to pack the moving truck to maximize the space. The guy even used his pick-up truck to haul the last few items that wouldn't fit in the moving truck. This was the second time we used your moving company, and we would use them again in a heartbeat.

Great. I had to drive some furniture from Langhorne to Woodbourne. I HIGHLY recommend this moving company. They were quick, careful, helpful with suggestions, on time for the job and very reasonably priced. I had to have furniture moved upstairs and they did a great job!

Great Service!. I wish to thank you for the top-notch level service I received from you and your staff. You were prompt with appointments and the move came in right on the amount you estimated. You workers did an excellent job. They arrived on time and worked hard. They were careful in packing and took extra care not to track mud onto the carpet. They had a great attitude and took directions well. Amazing Move!. I have worked with other moving companies in Maryland area, and this was definitely the best. The last company that I used had their name painted on their trucks and their employees wore shirts with the name on them. They seemed impressive, but they ended up charging me almost double the rate they quoted me, and their workers were incredibly slow.
