Editorial Review for Giordano's – by Sarah Preston
In Short
You can smell the pies before entering this bi-level tourist mecca. Red-and-white tablecloths, family-sized tables and friendly staff contribute to the convivial atmosphere. Thin-crust pizzas are cut in squares, heavy on mozzarella, easy on sauce. Stuffed pies are flaky-crusted with ingredients that include fresh pineapple, shrimp and classic pepperoni, onion, green pepper and the like. Other popular plates include sandwiches (Italian beef, sausage, meatball), salads and a plethora of pasta dishes.

Insider Tips
Know Before You GoStuffed pizzas take 35-40 minutes to bake, so it's a good idea to order in advance.
On the MenuThe pizza is filling, so before you order that large pie, think about how hungry you really are. The small stuffed pizza can feed 3 people.

ordered thin crust with vegetables and the crust was very thick - does anyone do a true thin crust ? Am looking for a light thin crust - not half inch thick doughy pizza like what I got here

I don't know how the restaurant itself is, but the pizza isn't really that great (or, it wasn't for me). Lou Malnati's or Chicago's Pizza and Pasta easily beats it. Prices are decent, or at least comparable to those other places, but, once again, pizza just not that good. And fettuccine alfredo could have been a LOT better.
