Could be better. I had lunch outside on a fantastic summer day. The ambiance is wonderful & food is delicious (although a little pricey for lunch), but the service was slow & wait staff was uninterested. Has great potential.

The Scene
From the angular dishes and chairs to the tubular lights and contemporary art fixtures, Bella provides romantic inspiration within a contemporary setting. The prized downtown location (south of the Aronoff Center for the Arts) offers an open view to the bustling city while attracting a diverse, upscale clientele.
The Food
Bella's Mediterranean-infused, contemporary cuisine is familiar, yet full of flavorful surprises. The sauteed Asiago-encrusted halibut with vegetables is zesty with black-pepper risotto and tomato-caper butter. Grilled peppered filet of beef comes richly drenched in a red-wine shiitake mushroom sauce and surrounded by a garlicky mound of Yukon gold potatoes. Gourmet pizzas and pastas, such as the Southwestern blackened chicken pizza, offer all the flavor of dinner-menu entrees at lunch-menu prices. Salads, in half or whole portions, include a perfect, not too salty or fishy Caesar. Be sure to finish with a slice of the three-layer chocolate mousse.

Fabulous!. Bella is a beautiful restaurant with great service and delicious food. The value is good, too, especially compared to other downtown restuarants. Located right next to the Aronoff, it's a great spot pre- or post-theater.
