In Short
The approach at this large, elegantly decorated Northern Italian, but it's as much a steak and seafood house as a purveyor of pastas. Meat and fish are seared over an open oak fire that enfuses the food with rich, woody flavors. The rare filet mignon is charred on the outside and served atop a thick slice of tomato, fried crisp with a Parmesan crust and a heap of shaved onion rings on the side.

NYC style Italian restaurant. Moved from NYC to Cinti 2 yrs ago. I had 30+ Italian restaurants in my neighborhood in NY, but found nothing here that comes close to a high quality, affordable, truly Italian meal, until I found Brios. Granted, its large and noisy, not a small trattoria as I had hoped. But, the food is excellent and the prices, though not cheap, are reasonable.
