never again

I used to love this place. Last time I was there about 3 mo ago the food was mediocre, th coffee cold and a great big c-roach walked across our table near the open kitchen. (we destroyed it. eww)The waitress didn't seem to care and handed us the check! Nor did she tell the manager. We told the cashier we were not paying for our meal that we could not eat after seeing that, and told her the waitress didn't care. And we were big fans and frequent customers. She didn't tell the manager to talk to us either. Never again, something is very wrong here and obviously dirty too here. Too cheap to pay the help well or exterminators?

Nightmare

Today's visit was a nightmare. No one to wait on us. They should have told us when we entered that they couldn't handle a larger group.

Took us more than an hour to get our food...and virtually no one was in the restaurant! No silverware, food was cold when it arrived, coffee was cold, etc., etc.

"Manger" disappeared...no offers to reduce our bill...no apologies, no offer to help, etc.

We had heard this place had changed hands. It's got to be true. We've been customers for a long time. They have now lost 3 families...permanently...as customers.

NEVER AGAIN!

• Pros: NONE!
• Cons: Just about everything!

I have a lunch hour, not lunch HOURS...

The food still tastes pretty good. Unfortunately, I have a lunch HOUR, not lunch HOURS. I went in by myself, the booths were mostly full, but no tables were. Busy? Maybe. Swamped? By no stretch of the imagination. My order took FORTY MINUTES. I ordered an omelet. No apologies for how long it took. My wheat toast was an english muffin. The server came back with the burned toast for me. Luckily I truly don't mind burned toast. I called my boss to let her know I didn't just disappear. She understood perfectly because she already knows how horrifically long it can take to get your food.

Chances are you'll enjoy what you eat, but don't go there hungry. It takes a WHILE. And really, nobody there cares if "everything was okay today" or not.

• Pros: Food can be quite tasty
• Cons: Nobody can wait that long for food
