A hair salon advertising partial promos for a service!.
It all started when I noticed an electronic sign at a salon called Reflections located in East Walnut Hills on Woodburn Ave. advertising $20 hair relaxers. So I call to inquire about the promotion. The lady that answered, just stated "Hello", instead of "Thank you for calling Reflections, How can I help you? My name is"... This was very unprofessional and should have been a Red flag but I ignored my gut feeling. I asked the lady about the advertisement in the window and she stated yes the relaxers are $20. So I scheduled an appointment for that very same evening.
After I arrived at the salon Steven greeted me and advised that his coworker overbooked him but he would fit me in, which I greatly appreciated. But after waiting awhile I noticed that there was not any Heat on in the salon, Then I went to the restroom only to find No toilet paper or paper towels! I alerted Steven about this and he said that he had asked a coworker to go to the store but they haven't made it yet. Then he offered a restaurant napkin and said he was sorry!
Finally, after coming out of the restroom, Steven chatted with me while still working on the other client in his chair. I mentioned that the reason I decided to schedule an appointment was due to the ad in the store front window for the $20 hair relaxers. Then Steven advised he was sorry and that the $20 only covers the relaxer but charges $65 for the relaxer and styling. I was outraged to say the least. Who gets a relaxer and leaves a salon without getting their hair styled? I will never go back or refer anyone to this hole in the wall they are calling a hair salon.. EVER!!
