This is not true italian. I was really intrigued by the mass crowds awaiting outside for this italian meal. Once I got in I highly enjoyed the atmosphere, but the food and service was horrible. First someone should teach the chef or company what Italian food really tastes like. For starters DONT ORDER the CHICKEN SALTIMBOCA they dont make it right. It is one of my favorite dishes and it sucks here. It is made with madeira wine and not lemon butter sauce. Olive Garden does a much better job with italian than this place. Pasta sauces are tasteless.

Superb. I was in a large group. The interior decor was unique. The service was excellent. The food portions were large enough for 2 or 3 people. Some ratings suggested poor parking. I found the restaurant to be surrounded by very large parking lots. This restaurant's popularity suggests that parking next to the entrance may not always be available.

Poor Choice. Everything (even the salad) was drenched in tasteless cooking oil. Nasty. Eat at a locally-owned Italian restaurant like Germanos or Ferrari's, not this mass-produced corporate cookie-cutter disaster.

Italian Family Style. Buca di Beppo has a great style - family style. The portions are tremendous and are meant to be shared. One dish can easily serve 2-3 people. The atmosphere is very cool with lots of pictures all over the wall, Italian music playing, and lots of people having a great time. The food is good - especially the garlic bread and the green beans. It is rather expensive - $40 or so for two people, but it's a lot of fun.

buca di great-o!. i first tried bucca when it first opened and the waits were two hours or more on a weekend night. however, the wait was worth every minute. the staff brought out their pizza to serve to us hungry 'waiters.' i thought that this was great customer service and i didn't hear any complaints from the other patrons. if it's your first time there, you get the grand tour which starts right in the kitchen, the most important place in the restaurant. the staff is so sure that it is offering the best food that they have put a 'kitchen table' right across from the chefs so you can see everything. as for large parties, this place is built for it. i've attended birthdays with parties of at least eight and bucca makes sure that no one is left out and that there is plenty of space for everyone.

No, thank you!. The setting is unique and certainly explains the restaurant's popularity. That being said, please don't go there for the food. Ragu makes better pasta.
