I LOVE this place!!! I can't say enough good things about Tanya's Salon! My hair stylist, Rae, is soooo good! She always knows exactly how to do what I want. I also love the Shellac manicure that they have, and Julie is the best massage therapist ever! Do not hesitate on whether to go there or not, it is totally worth your money!

Tanya's is my home away from home

I have been a client of Tanya's Salon for many years. It is my one stop shop for all my girly needs! I just wanted to post something here and let everyone know that this salon is THE best in the city. I get my hair done, my facials and massages, and my nails ALL done there. It's the one thing I spoil myself on. And Thank Goodness to Tanya's...I have never felt more beautiful and whole. Thank you Tanya's!!!

don't waste your time or money

My appointment was for 1:30pm on Saturday, March 12th. I get there at 1:20pm, they proceed to make me feel like I did something wrong by coming 10 minutes early. Then I proceeded to wait 30 minutes. My mani pedi took 3 1/2 hours and turned out to be crap. I couldn't believe the awful expereince I had there. I will let the rest of my gift certificate go to waste because I will not subject myself to terrible service. Apparently, my nail technician had a client leave in the middle of her appt to get coffee with her boyfriend, so she made me late, so she could finish up with her previous client. Terrible service. Bad experience. Tanya's owe's me 4 hours of my life back.

What an awesome experience! I booked my first appointment at Tanya's and was a little nervous since I have curly hair that has been messed up terribly before. The front desk made me feel very comfortable over the phone and made me feel like I'd be in the right hands. My appointment was with Lanna, and she was incredible! She treated me like we've known each other for years, listened to what I like and dislike about my hair, and gave me suggestions about what kind of cut I need, how to style it and what kind of products to use. And the haircut she gave me was the best I've ever had. I left Tanya's feeling happier than I've ever felt with a salon/stylist and I will definitely be making regular visits to see her. I recommend this salon and Lanna to anyone!

• Pros: incredible service, talented and professional staff, fun atmosphere.
• Cons: hard to find parking.

you NEED to go to Tanya's!!!

So if you're looking for a salon, I highly, highly HIGHLY recommend Tanya's Image & Wellness Salon in Hyde Park. You can see it from the street from Hyde Park Square. It's as appealing inside as it is from the outside. It's got a very modern and comfortable feel. Even coming from a barber-shop-only background of haircuts, i didn't feel awkward or out of place at all with it being in such a high end area.

Lanna cut my hair and she was AMAZING!!! Honestly, it was the best haircut i've ever had..and i've had my share of haircuts. It also came with a complimentary mini-facial and arm & hand massage. I DID feel a little strange about this at first, but you only live once...and it was free! The massage was glorious and the facial actually turned out to be pretty nice. Lanna did an amazing job with everything and i'm definitely going back to her!!

All in all, the people, the location, the appearance AND the product all made the experience worth talking about. You should definitely go and find out for yourself. The information is below.
