Best Italian Food. Found Carrabba's about six months ago and have never been disappointed. Exceptional service and great authentic Italian food actually made from scratch on site. Not sure why other reviews complain about the wait. It's always worth it. They don't take reservations, but if you call ahead it definitely cuts down the wait. Nice to visit a restaurant where the local owner actually visits tables and cares about their customers. Clearly one of my families favorite places.

Well hello excellent italian dinner. I went to carrabbas expecting overly expensive, decent tasting food. I was sooo wrong! I walked into a charming atmosphere and the smell of the woodfired ovens. I sat down to read the menu and was stunned by the very reasonable prices. I couldn't read half the menu, but the server was happy to explain. The food was amazing, the best italian I have had in quite some time. The only downer on the trip was that our server seemed new. We did deal with multiple servers though, and it was clear she was in training because everyone else seemed to be very seasoned as servers. But hey, everyone was new once! Overall, I was very happy with my trip to carrabbas. I highly recommend it to everyone in the area!

An open kitchen churns out wood-fired pizzas and fresh-made pastas at this casual Sicilian-American chain.. In Short
Decorated with family photos of founders Damian Mandola and Johnny Carrabba, the open dining rooms pack groups of friends and extended families into four- and six-person tables and booths; smaller parties or couples can grab stools at the open kitchen's adjoining bar to watch chefs make dinner. The traditional southern Italian menu offers grill specialties like steak Marsala and fire-roasted chicken breast with sun-dried tomatoes; pasta dishes include fettuccine Alfredo and garlic-sauteed shrimp with linguine.

Its No Olive Garden..Thank God!!. I'm usually not a big fan of chain restauants and whatever preconceived thoughts you may have you can put them aside if someone mentions Carrabba's Italian Grill. This place is terrific!! You can have great service, ambiance, great prices, free parking etc.. but all that means nothing if the foods bad. Guess what? Carrabba's has all these necessary qualities that make up a great restaurant especially the food..you would think an old Italian grandmother spent all day in the kitchen making this stuff. I should know cause my grandmother used to spend a whole day just making sauce..or as she would call it.."gravy" Go before seven during the week and catch the happy hour for half priced drinks!!

My Favorite Italian food. I first visited Carrabba's Italian Grill while living in Charlotte, NC. From my first meal there I was "hooked". The friendly, professional service and the truly "outstanding" food makes me come back over and over again. My wife and I usually opt to eat at the counter overlooking the grill and where these truly outstanding meals are lovingly prepared. It is a real treat to eat there. In my opinion it is the best Italian food anywhere period.
