Loving Touch is now All new!. Despite the new look they're still under the same ownership. They have 3 staff members and often can't keep the place clean. No one gets the care they deserve there.
Horrible Experience. I went to update my dogs shots because it was closer to home than my normal vet. The receptionists had no idea what was going on and seemed to be lost. We waited in a room that smelled and did not look clean. When the vet finally came in she was very unfriendly and was not good with my dog who is very friendly. The worst experience I've had a vet, it was like they didn't know how to administer a shot. I use to board there as well but after this experience I will never return.
Rip off. I had to use them in an emergency. We had avoided them because they think one of my dogs is "vicious" although no one else has had any problems in his long life. Anyway, I noticed on my bill that I was charged for 4 days when the dogs were actually there less than three days. They told us that it is their "policy" to charge for the day they are dropped off and the day they are picked up no matter when it is done. This mean if they stay for three nights you are automatically charged for four and so on. This is a rip off and I'm reporting them.
NOT the Loving Touch. I was trying to take my pet to a closer vet and I regret it. I arrived at The Loving Touch on time and the Receptionist was so confused that she pulled the wrong chart. Funny, my pet was a new patient, there was no chart yet...hmmmmm. The rooms were hot and I waited for a half an hour before my pet was seen. Compared to where I was taking her (which I will be again) they weren't the Loving Touch. My pet wanted to leave so bad she was crying. It's time to get a new staff folks. Highly UNrecommended !!
Trustworthy Veterinarian. We originally took our dogs to the Animal Care Center, which has very high prices, and you don't know which vet your dog will see each time you visit. I trusted them b/c of the clean facility and high prices, wanting nothing but the absolute best for our dogs (I have taken them to cheaper places which I felt uncomfortable with b/c of their shoddy practices). A neighbor referred me to this vet at Loving Touch Pet Care, Cheryl Holman, who I have found to be trustworthy. Her prices are lower, she gives honest recommendations for the best health of our dogs, mixing holistic with medical care, such as how often it really is necessary to vaccinate the dogs, as it is bad for their health to have them over-vaccinated. Also, she advises which months are best for Frontline, etc, and advises which of her services such as teeth cleaning and such should be done and which are better not to do. This saves us a lot of money in wasted unnecessary products and services. She seems not to be selfishly motivated by profits and more motivated by the altruistic motive of helping our dogs. Also she recommended a make-it-yourself raw food diet as well as a book, which has changed our dogs' lives for the better, really making a huge difference in their health!!! Also, now that she has closed her other location, I expect her hours to be more stable at this location.
Best kennel around.
The employees and the vet are very friendly. They try to help when you have a problem about your pet. The vet has some funky hours but is willing to be of some service. Besides, the vet is between two clinics, as I hear.
Good, clean facility.
