LOVE THIS PLACE

by DiNewman at Citysearch

THEY'VE MOVED!!! The new place is around the corner, North on Hamilton Avenue. A real parking lot, more seating, and flat screens. We love everything. Friends, who live in other parts of town, call and beg for me to stop and bring them pulled pork and sauce. The owner, Diane is great, the servers are so relaxed, its just a fun place to go. Lots of things to keep the kids entertained. We've used them to smoke our Thanksgiving turkey every year since they opened. Occasionally the brisket can be fatty, but he ribs, chicken, and fish and desserts are always perfect.

My #2 Choice in Cincy for BBQ!

by benjiopinion at Citysearch

I read the review about fatty meat. I only get pulled BBQ at all the BBQ places that I review here on Citysearch and can say that I have never had any fat in my pulled pork from "PTP". Check out my review about "Burbanks" if you want to talk about fat. I have found "PTP" to be the best value in Cincy for pulled pork snadwiches. It's a toss up as far as quality meat between "Walts" and "PTP" for second place just behind my favorite "Jim Dandys". Please keep in mind that this is my personal opinion, and everyones taste is different. You get a bit smaller sandwich at "PTP" than you get at most other places, but that is reflected in the price. I have not been to the new place on Hamilton Ave yet, so I don't know if the price has been changed to pay for the new real estate.

  • Pros: Great Food, Great Portions at a Great Price.

  • Pros: when we walked out
