In Short – The Cincinnatian, the only small luxury hotel in the city, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places; the romantic Cricket Lounge is named after the original restaurant that operated in the landmark's first incarnation, the Palace Hotel. Just steps from the lobby, piano and harp music ease the after-work crowd into evening; jazz trios play on weekend nights. Both Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks have entertained patrons with impromptu performances.

Today is the second time I have visited The Cricket, and the second time I had terrible service. I would not recommend this place for anyone on a lunch hour, or that is trying to impress a date. Food was OK, once they took your order, if you want desert you better order it right away. The waitresses we had on both occasions were less than attentive. We had to wave them down for a coffee refill. The beer is warm, that may be because it takes 20 minutes to get it.
- Pros: Food is good, when they have what you order
- Cons: Service is terrible
Great Bloody Mary's and very romantic bar to sit at and gaze into your lover's eye
by beas2744 at Citysearch
Mike whom is the bartender thru the early part of the day has a fantastic Bloody Mary receipe. He truly helps make your drinking and or dining experience very enjoyable. While sitting there you never know who may sit next to you. On occasions there have been all star sporting figures and at other times there have been the rock and roll stars. It is a place you definately do not wat to miss.
