Editorial Review for The Forum Grill – by Craig Wales with Eric Appleby

In Short
The Forum Grill claims to be known for its steak and fish, but the kitchen is adept at most all offerings. Its buffets are a true celebration of food, with omelet and waffle stations, egg dishes and an array of pastries for brunch, and several carving stations for the lunch crowd. The Bloody Mary is made with a house mix that leans heavily on the horseradish but goes easy on the pepper.

Insider Tips

Know Before You Go

Holiday brunches are popular, so book ahead of time. For lunch buffet, try to get there early, as it is usually finished by 1:30pm.

The Extras

The adjoining pub-like Club 400 is good for a light meal or drink at the bar.

1 Star Rating: Not Recommended

I used to eat at Forum Grill back in the 1990's. I ate there tonight, and the service was TERRIBLE. Furthermore, I was charged an additional 15% service charge (tip), so the waiter had no incentive to work at all.... which he didn't. Seats were uncomfortable. I've sat on park benches that were more plush. There was a horrible gas-leak smell permeating everywhere. Made our food taste like commode-waste. I would NEVER eat there again. McDonalds is better (and I don't like McDonalds).

Pros: You can park your own car

Cons: Service, Food, seating

2 Star Rating: Below Average

I have eaten at this grill a few years back and it was a pleasant visit. I can not say the same now. If you could get a staff member to come to your table they were full of smiles but really lacked service. I was in a party of 4 and the establishment may have had 50 people. 2 of our dishes were mixed up after waiting about 30 mins after placing order. Food was very bland, desert tasted like something from Sam's warehouse. For the pricing this was a large disappointment for our group.

Pros: Quiet, seating area, location

Cons: service, quality of food
